The "influencer playbook" on LinkedIn looks like this:
- Be active constantly throughout the day
- Comment for hours to boost visibility
- Grind every single day without breaks
- Treat LinkedIn like a full-time job
This works if LinkedIn is your full-time job. But for founders, systems beat willpower every time.
That's why I shifted to a completely different approach: batch content creation, strategic engagement, and focused time blocks. The result? I create all seven of my weekly LinkedIn posts in significantly less than 30 minutes during one Saturday session.
And today, I'm showing you exactly how I do it—real screens, real workflow, no fluff.
The Secret: Never Start From a Blank Page
Here's what changed everything for me: I haven't faced a blank page in years.
This isn't because I'm some creative genius. It's because I have a system that ensures I never start from scratch. The difference between struggling for hours and finishing in minutes is simple:
Having your inputs ready when you sit down to create.
Instead of asking "What should I write about?" I sit down with:
- Video transcripts ready to repurpose
- Saved ideas in my inspiration board
- Previous high-performing posts to remix
- Clear templates and workflows
When you always have an entry point, content creation becomes swift instead of stressful.
My Exact Saturday Content Session Workflow
Let me walk you through the process I use every Saturday to create seven posts for the coming week.
Step 1: Generate Ideas From Video Transcripts
I start with material I've already created—usually transcripts from my weekly videos. Here's the process:
- Copy the transcript from last week's video
- Go to my ideas section and click "Generate Ideas"
- Select "Transcript" and paste the content
- Click "Generate post ideas from transcript"
The system generates multiple post ideas immediately. I review them, select the ones that resonate (typically 3-5 ideas), and then here's the magic: I queue them for the AI writer.
I simply click the rocket icon next to each idea, and our ghostwriter agent goes to work—at a rate of one post per hour—creating three draft versions for each idea:
- Draft 1: Written in my personal style
- Draft 2: Best practices format
- Draft 3: A wild card for variety
This happens asynchronously. I queue the ideas at the end of my session for next week, so when I sit down the following Saturday, the drafts are waiting for me.
Step 2: Review and Edit Pre-Written Drafts
When I return to my content session, I have multiple pre-written posts ready in my "Edit and Schedule" queue. The process from here is incredibly fast:
- Click on a post to see the three AI-generated drafts
- Review which version works best (usually my style works best since it's trained on my voice)
- Click "Use this draft"
- Quick edit—tweak a few words, adjust the flow, personalize specific details
- Add media (AI-generated image, video, or carousel)
Time per post: 5-6 minutes
The editing part is crucial—I always review and personalize. But I'm editing, not creating from scratch. That's the massive difference.
Step 3: Repurpose Videos With Transcripts
If I'm sharing a video (like a short-form clip), the process is even simpler:
- Click "New Post" and upload the video
- Give the ghostwriter the video transcript
- Tell it: "I'm sharing a video with this post. Here's the transcript. Write a couple of drafts for me."
- Review the drafts in seconds
- Select the best one, edit quickly, and attach the video
Another post done in minutes.
Step 4: Find Inspiration (When You Need Fresh Ideas)
What if you don't have an idea ready? Two methods work incredibly well:
Method 1: Use the Inspiration Board
- Browse or search for topics relevant to your niche (e.g., "personal branding")
- Find a high-performing post that resonates
- Click "Rewrite with AI"
- The ghostwriter analyzes the post and rewrites it in your style
- Edit, personalize, add your media
Example: I found a post from Charlie Hills about how "Everyone is chasing perfect AI content right now. I'm betting on the opposite." I selected it, hit rewrite, and had a version in my voice within seconds.
Method 2: Reuse Your Own Top Performers
- Go to your analytics
- Pick a time frame (e.g., a few months back)
- Select a post that performed well
- Click "Duplicate" and "Rewrite with AI"
- Add different media—turn it into a carousel, add an AI-generated quote image, or create a new visual
For carousels, simply click "Add Media" → "Carousel" → "Generate carousel with AI." Review the slides, tweak the copy, and attach to your post.
This is how you create fresh content without starting from zero.
The Complete System: Content + Engagement
Here's what my full weekly LinkedIn system looks like:
Saturday (30 minutes):
- Batch-create all seven posts for the week
- Schedule them in advance
- Queue ideas for the following week
Daily (15-30 minutes):
- 15 minutes when my post goes live for initial engagement
- 15 minutes later in the day if I have time
- Respond to comments on my posts
- Reach out to people viewing my profile
- Start conversations with engaged readers
Content is just the first part. Nobody's going to start conversations for you. You need to engage, respond, and build relationships. But I've compartmentalized that into focused blocks instead of being on LinkedIn all day.
Your Challenge This Week
Here's what I want you to try:
- Slot your time: Block one hour this week for content batching
- Fill your content queue: Create 4-7 post drafts (more than you need)
- Pick the best ones: Select what you want to publish, save the rest for next week
- Stop starting from scratch: Use transcripts, repurpose top posts, or find inspiration from others
Even if you don't use the exact tools I showed you—whether you use a custom GPT, another AI tool, or a different system—the principle remains the same:
Batch your content. It's the only way for founders to survive LinkedIn without burning out.
I've been in the grind. I've spent hours daily on LinkedIn trying to keep up. It took a long time and a very intentional system to get out of that cycle. Now I have my queue set, my system dialed in, and my Saturdays back.
Try This Workflow Yourself
If you want to test this exact workflow, I'm offering a 14-day free trial of the system I use (link in the video description). But honestly, even if you use something else entirely, the framework works:
- Systems over willpower
- Batch content creation
- Strategic engagement in focused blocks
- Never start from a blank page
That's how you create consistent, authentic LinkedIn content without letting it consume your life.
Now go fill that content queue. I'll see you next Saturday.
